TASTINGS NYC, an annual showcase of the trailblazers and trendsetters who influence how New Yorkers cook, eat, drink and live, returns to Pier 94 November 7-9 to welcome the season of holiday dining and entertaining.

Kick-off the Season of Eating with cooking demonstrations from all-star chefs; tastings of fine wine, water and spirits from around the world; stock up at the gourmet marketplace filled with specialty food products from gourmet producers; enjoy a spa treatment from Oasis Day Spa and work on your golf swing at Chelsea Piers.

Spicing up the weekend are special events that celebrate the palate and personality of New York City including:

• the NYFD PANCAKE BREAKFAST BATTLE
• a competition among firehouses from the five boroughs to benefit the FDNY Firefighters Hockey Team
• the 1st Annual NYC NIBBLE awards
• TASTINGS PLAYHOUSE with performances and activities for budding chefs
• and BEHIND THE STICK, a spirited celebration featuring New York City's top bar bands and headlined by Master Mixologists pouring creative cocktails
• seasonal favorites and twists on old classics
