Staff Tips: Cleansing the Right Way
Our estheticians shared a few tips to help you cleanse smarter, not harder.
- Cleanse twice a day, not more. Washing your face morning and night is enough. Over-cleansing can strip your skin of its natural oils and do more harm than good.
- Match your cleanser to your skin type. Gel cleansers are great for oily skin, helping to clear out deep-down dirt and excess oil. If your skin runs dry or dehydrated, a hydrating cleanser is the better choice, it removes dirt and buildup without disrupting your skin’s natural barrier.
- Don’t stop at cleansing. A light moisturizer and daily SPF, along with plenty of water, help round out a routine that actually supports healthy skin.
